The Dutch financial crime agency, FIOD, has announced that 2 individuals have been arrested on suspicion of violating and circumventing EU sanctions by purchasing and importing Russian timber through Chinese suppliers.
Their homes and businesses have been searched and their bank accounts and timber have been seized.
